Sophie, 13 – skiing accident

After a fall on a family skiing trip, Sophie was diagnosed with an acquired brain injury.  At first she looked well enough to go home but in the weeks that followed she became exhausted, dizzy and unable to concentrate.  Sport stopped, school became overwhelming and her family felt they had lost the confident child they knew.  Specialist rehabilitation would help Sophie rebuild her balance, hand-eye co-ordination and confidence.
