Maya, 5 – childhood stroke

Maya’s stroke affected one side of her body. What she needed most was repetition that felt joyful rather than clinical.  Robotics and sensor based therapy would let her practice the same movements hundreds of times through games while therapists measure every small gain – zipping a coat, climbing steps, holding a pencil and joining in.
