Rital and Ritag

Rital and Ritag come from a family of doctors, so their family had done their research prior to contacting Professor Jeelani. The girls arrived in the UK in April  2011. They underwent their first surgery in May 2011.

The surgery was staged over 4 separations, with the final separation being undertaken in August 2011.

The girls made a swift recovery and were discharged from  hospital soon afterwards. The girls and their parents are leading happy, fulfilling lives.  The separation of Rital and Ritag was the first of a number of steps that led to the creation of Gemini Untwined. We are very pleased that Rital and Ritag will be talking at the SBNS 100th anniversary in late October 2026.
